Indian Law On Sexually Harassed At Work

I want to about main provision on sexually harassed at work with respect to Indian Law.  What are penalties, and the protection to women employees.

What are punishment to the complainant if allegation by females is found false.

Please remember that Indian laws are very strict as far as sexual harassment is concerned. Harassment is at work place or any other place, laws are almost same. It will be treated as sexual harassment, if a woman is discriminated just because of being female. Like, if a female employee is given more work or given less work as compared to male counterpart then it is sexual discrimination and that can considered as sexual harassment.  

Although in India, as a general practice in office, female employees are given more liberty just because of Indian culture. They are given less work and work that has low challenge. Generally outdoor work is not given. But this too is asexual harassment as per present Indian Laws.

As far as, punishment to female employee is concerned when complaint is not proved, this treated as very leniently by court.
